UPDATED 24.03.2020

As I am a ‘virtual’ store ran from home with only myself as staff I have made the decision to keep the website open for orders HOWEVER for the safety of myself, my family and everyone else my turnaround time will change from 1-3 days to 1-7 days. Orders will be posted as and when myself or my partner leave the house to buy supplies, I will not be making specific postal runs every day just for orders. There may be some stock issues along the way as a lot of my suppliers are now closed but I’ll try my best to keep stock on the website updated as much as possible. As a small business I appreciate every single order, kind message, shout out and share and as a thank you for your support there will be free postage on all orders from now on. Also if you want to send a birthday gift, a little something to say you miss someone or a gift to cheer a loved one up don’t forget to leave me a message in the notes section of your order and I’ll happily include your personalised message inside the parcel and make sure it’s wrapped pretty!

I just thought I would clarify a few things regarding how I will continue to run my business during these uncertain times. As it stands right now it order turnaround will be 1-7 days and all items will be sent as normal by Royal Mail, either small enough to fit directly through your letterbox or as a small parcel. Royal Mail, with the advice of PHE (Public Health England) are advising that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting Coronavirus. From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels. There are some changes being made by Royal Mail in the way you will receive parcels that don’t fit through your door or need signing for, this is to try and eliminate anything being passed between yourself and the post man/woman. More advice can be found by visiting the Royal Mail website- https://www.royalmail.com/coronavirus?iid=HP_M1_CORONAVIRUS

I will ensure my stock and office environment is kept clean; this is a secure and separated room from anyone else and I’m a one woman team. Same rules as posting should apply with regards to the coronavirus not being able to survive long enough on any of my packaging, jewellery or tissue paper etc by the time it has been received and opened. Possible closures to my suppliers or delays in deliveries are inevitable and if I ever suspected myself, my children or my partner to have coronavirus virus I would not hesitate to close shop. I will continue to carry on as normal however, that being said, it’s important that we all do our bit in this to keep each other safe.
